Black History Month Video Resource

Are you looking for a video to show to your pupils during Black History Month, then why not show  them this piece of performance poetry. Forget the pupils for a moment, but it will make you as a teacher stop for a second and ponder what we really actually teach during this month. This great video of performance poetry shows the frustration to some of the teaching of Black History in our schools today. I am sure it is a bit controversial, but I do intend to use this video during Black history month, and show it to my kids during form and registration. Let’s see what discussions and questions it brings up!
